Chapter Spotlight: Northern Indiana Chapter

What’s happening in Northern Indiana:

The Northern Indiana Hope Mommies Chapter has had an exciting year of growth and change. We added several new individuals to our leadership team and began reaching women in a new city, Fort Wayne, which is the second largest city in Indiana. New territory allowed us to provide Hope Boxes to four new hospitals: Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Randallia, Dekalb Health, and Dupont Hospital. We distributed a total of 250 Hope Boxes this year. We also began offering a monthly gathering in Fort Wayne, in addition to our Goshen group. 

This year, we continued our annual tradition of hosting a Mother’s Day Tea and gathered for fellowship, southern style food, biblical encouragement, and to remember our Hope Babies during a challenging holiday. We hosted a summer Hope Group, and ladies from all over our chapter gathered weekly to dig into God’s Word and pray together. In September, we hosted the Boots & Bowties Fundraiser Dinner. It was an amazingly great success, and we are so grateful for how the Lord continues to provide for our chapter in every way.  

Hope Mom Testimony:

After my daughter was stillborn in August 2017, I was desperately searching for faith-based resources and support to help me through my loss. Hope Mommies has offered me community, friendship, support, and most importantly, pointed me to the hope and assurance that we have in Jesus.

Pray for Northern Indiana:

• As we proceed into 2020, we are asking for prayer for guidance and wisdom as we grow and reach new Hope Moms in our area. We want to lead these women to light amidst the darkness they are walking through.
• We also ask that you pray that we would achieve the financial means to sustain our growth, so that we have the opportunity to come alongside these Hope Moms and serve them well.

Hope Mommies Chapters assist in our mission to share the Hope of Christ with bereaved mothers and families experiencing infant loss by serving their local communities through providing on-the-ground support in their geographical area.
