Beauty Will Rise

Grief is a funny thing. It makes you feel alone and isolated. Hope Mommies was born out of a group of women who went searching for others who were walking the same road.

It is common to search the internet, read books, and listen to music that you identify with in your grief. To want to find others with stories similar to yours. To know that someone else has lost and come out the other side of grief alive.

One of our favorite families in Christian entertainment did just that. Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman lost a daughter to a tragic accident in 2008. Their story is heartbreaking and beautiful because the strength of their faith and the their trust in the Lord through such hard times is awe inspiring.

Today, Hope Mommies had the amazing opportunity to share the Chapman’s story with you. We have a signed copy of Mary Beth’s book Choosing To See, and a signed copy of Steven Curtis’ album Beauty Will Rise to give away!

There will be two separate drawings done. If you’re really lucky, you might even win both! We know that you will be blessed by the Chapman’s story and the beauty of their faith.

I choose hope because it’s so much better than dispair & depression! God has shown us if we choose to have hope & faith in Him then He will be faithful & take care of us better than we ever imagined every step of the way 🙂

I choose hope because it is all I have. It is my life vest in the storm of grief. It keeps me alive, truly. Without it, I would be lost in the waves.
