The 2026 Hope Mommies retreat is February 27 – March 1, It will be a weekend of fellowship, growth,
and healing as we explore 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 and what it means to be Beautifully Broken.
If you’re weary from carrying the weight of your baby’s death… if you long for a space to breathe, to feel, to be held… if you’ve ever wondered if anyone truly understands this ache, we want you to know: you are not alone.
This retreat is a space for your grief to be held with care, and we would be so honored to have you join us. There is something sacred that happens when broken things are held with tenderness and made whole again.
At this year’s Hope Mommies Retreat, we’re leaning into the theme Beautifully Broken, inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi—the practice of repairing shattered pottery with gold. Rather than hiding the cracks, Kintsugi honors them. The break becomes part of the beauty. The restoration tells a new story. And remarkably, the piece is considered even more precious and beautiful because it was broken and lovingly mended.
This is what Jesus does with us, if we’ll let Him.
This year we will be back at Camp Tejas in Giddings, Texas.
This location is within an hour from Austin airport.
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7-18
Come spend a weekend with us!
Let’s look to Him, be kind to ourselves, and tell the whole truth about our pain.
Let’s celebrate that joy and pain that are not mutually exclusive, and let’s surrender our hurts to the one source that can truly heal.
