Hebrews 6:19

"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul."

In this special episode, Jennie sits down with Kri In this special episode, Jennie sits down with Kristin as she shares that she is stepping away from her role as host of the Hope Mommies Podcast.

Kristin has been a steady and compassionate voice since the podcast launched in January 2024, helping shape it into a space where grieving moms are met with truth, gentleness, and the hope of Christ.

In this conversation, Jennie and Kristin reflect on the beginning of the podcast and how it came to life, look back on meaningful moments, and share how the Lord has used this season to deepen their faith. They also talk through Kristin’s decision, what God is leading her into next, and what the future looks like for the podcast.

They also speak honestly about change, how even good, God-led transitions can feel like loss, and the deep trust it takes to follow the Lord’s leading when it’s hard.

While this is a goodbye for now, it is also a reminder that the same God who has met us in every episode has not changed. He will continue to meet us here.

If you’d like to share a note of encouragement or say goodbye to Kristin, we would love that. You can email us at info@hopemommies.org or leave a comment on our Instagram or Facebook posts.

Who am I now? After loss, that question can feel Who am I now?

After loss, that question can feel impossible to answer.

Grief has a way of unraveling so much more than we expect. The life you imagined changes. The version of yourself you once knew feels unfamiliar. Fear creeps in where confidence used to live. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you begin wondering who you even are anymore.

In this week’s article, Jennie shares honestly about the identity struggles that often follow the loss of a baby—the questions, the fear, the grief, and the gentle truth that our identity was never rooted in a life untouched by sorrow, but in the God who calls us His.

“So, friend, when you can’t answer the question, ‘Who am I now?’ God can. And His answer is, ‘You are mine.’”

If you’ve wrestled with these feelings after loss, we hope this reminds you that you are not alone.

Happy Mother’s Day, Hope Mom. We know this day ca Happy Mother’s Day, Hope Mom.

We know this day can hold so much—love and ache, remembrance and longing, joy and grief all at once. If you’re feeling the weight of it, you’re not alone here.

Today, you don’t have to have everything you need all at once. God’s grace will meet you in each moment, just as it comes. He sees every tear, every quiet thought, every piece of your story—and He is holding you through all of it.

You are a mother. That truth did not end when your baby went to Heaven. It is woven into who you are, and nothing can take that away.

Give yourself permission to move through today gently. To grieve. To remember. To step away. To lean in. To simply be.

We’re praying you feel cared for in both big and small ways today—and that even in the midst of it all, you sense the nearness of the Lord.

You are seen. You are loved. You are not carrying this day alone.
