My name is Kathy Joy.  I have taught 6-8th grade science for many years.  Now I teach first grade and absolutely love it!  My husband, Kenny, and I have been married for 38 years!  We live in a small town outside of Amarillo, Texas. Kenny calls it Mayberry!  Our first child, Kristin died during birth. We were heartbroken. We had several miscarriages.  We did eventually have 3 children Kyle, Kevin, and Kalee.   Needless to say Kalee was our princess!  Nine months ago Kalee died from a massive heart attack!  Once again our life has changed. We are working thru grief and a “new normal”. I fully believe God has a plan and that the loss of two children is not the end. I am excited about being involved with this group!  My prayer is that we all take our experiences and minister to others.
