My name is Jessica Barnes and am a stay at home mom who waitresses part time at a lovely family owned Italian restaurant.  I have been married to Corey for 14 years. We have 4 children here on earth, Ethan (10), Ella (8), Emmett (5) and Edison (2).  On February 18th, 2011, we met our son, Elias Andrew, and 17 hours later he went to be with the Lord. We found out at 18 weeks pregnant  that Elias had a condition that doctors called “incompatible with life”. We chose life for our son, and I have been blessed beyond my imagination that God chose me to to be his mother. There is a great deal of pain and sorrow involved in death, but there is much beauty to be seen when trusting in the Lord. We waited and prayed for a miracle, but God had a different story He wanted told, and it was all about Him!” I look forward to walking along side of other Hope Mommies through this tightrope of grief and as we navigate through the storm.
