Hebrews 6:19

"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul."

“We won't be the same as we were before our Hope b “We won't be the same as we were before our Hope babies…allow yourself to be different than you were because it's a testimony to your baby's meaningfulness in your life and the power of your love for that baby.” - Kelly Ransdell, Episode 63

In our latest podcast episode, Kristin is joined by Kelly Ransdell, Ministry Support Lead for Hope Mommies, to talk about how grief affects our minds, bodies, and relationships and how Christ’s wounds bring true healing. We hope you’ll join us for Episode 63: By His Wounds We are Healed, now streaming wherever you listen to podcasts and at hopemommies.org/podcast.
Grief has a way of turning the volume up on anxiet Grief has a way of turning the volume up on anxiety. After the full-term loss of her son, Kelly shares honestly how fear, worry, and unanswered questions overwhelmed her heart—and how deeply normal that experience can be after loss.

This post names what so many grieving parents feel but struggle to articulate: the spiraling thoughts, the doubts, the fear of what else might be taken, and even the anxiety that seeps into our relationship with God. But it doesn’t stop there.

Instead of treating anxiety as something to simply “fix,” this story invites us to see it differently—not as a failure of faith, but as an invitation. A doorway. A place where God gently meets us and asks us to bring our deepest fears into His presence.

If anxiety has been hijacking your peace since your loss, you are not alone—and you are not broken. This reflection offers both understanding and hope, reminding us that we don’t need perfect faith to come to Jesus… just honest faith.

Retreat weekend was a reminder that God meets us e Retreat weekend was a reminder that God meets us even in our deepest grief. What has been broken can be lovingly mended and made beautiful again.

We gathered to remember our hope babies, honor our stories, and encourage one another in the hope of Jesus.

"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self his being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." II Corinthians 4:16-18
Even in the depths of unimaginable loss, Job spoke Even in the depths of unimaginable loss, Job spoke a bold declaration of faith:

“For I know that my Redeemer lives.” — Job 19:25

Job didn’t say this after everything was restored. He spoke these words in the middle of grief, confusion, and suffering. His circumstances hadn’t changed—but his hope rested in God.

Hope Mom, if today feels heavy, you are not alone. The same Redeemer who held Job is holding you. He sees every tear and knows every longing of your heart.

Because our Redeemer lives, hope remains.
