"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul."

Your place is waiting. Registration is now open f Your place is waiting.

Registration is now open for the 2027 Hope Mommies Retreat, and if you've been considering joining us, now is the perfect time to reserve your spot.

Come spend a weekend where you don't have to explain your grief or your motherhood. You'll be surrounded by women who understand, as we worship together, open God's Word, remember our babies, and be reminded that our Good Shepherd faithfully restores weary souls.

✨ Early Bird pricing is available for a limited time and is the lowest registration rate we'll offer. Prices increase October 1, and payment plans are available to make attending more accessible.

If the Lord has been stirring your heart to come, we'd encourage you to register early and secure your place.

We would be honored to know your baby's name and walk alongside you this February.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the st "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." — Psalm 73:26

There are days in grief when we become painfully aware of our own weakness.

Our bodies grow weary from sleepless nights. Our hearts ache under the weight of missing our babies. Even years after loss, anniversaries, birthdays, or an unexpected reminder can leave us feeling as though we simply don't have the strength to carry another day.

Psalm 73 reminds us that God never asked us to be strong enough on our own.

The psalmist doesn't deny his weakness. He acknowledges it honestly: "My flesh and my heart may fail..." He knows that there are moments when our strength runs out, our emotions overwhelm us, and our hearts feel as though they might break beneath the weight of sorrow.

But the verse doesn't end there.

"…but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

What a beautiful promise for grieving mothers.

When our own strength is gone, His is not. When our hearts feel fragile, He remains steadfast. When grief leaves us empty, He Himself becomes our portion—the One who sustains us, comforts us, and faithfully carries us when we cannot carry ourselves.

Losing a baby may leave us feeling like so much has been taken away. Dreams have changed. Arms remain empty. Questions linger. Yet there is one thing grief can never take from us: the presence of our Heavenly Father.

He remains our strength.

He remains our portion.

He remains enough.

If today feels especially heavy, don't measure God's faithfulness by how strong you feel. Instead, rest in the promise that His strength is never dependent on yours.

The God who holds you today will still be holding you tomorrow.

And He will continue to be the strength of your heart, forever.
In this tender moment from the latest Hope Mommies In this tender moment from the latest Hope Mommies Podcast, Labor & Delivery nurse and Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator Amber Onyan reminds us that while we may not always receive the answers we're longing for, we are never alone in our grief.

She shares the beautiful image of a tear-shaped necklace inspired by Psalm 56—a reminder that God collects every tear, records each one, and faithfully walks with us through every step of our sorrow.

In this compassionate conversation, Jennie and Amber talk about what happens after a baby dies, the sacred role of perinatal bereavement nurses, memory-making opportunities many families don't know are available, postpartum care after loss, and the gentle ways caregivers support parents during some of the darkest moments of their lives.

Episode 75: Walking Families Through Goodbye
Inside the Sacred Work of a Perinatal Bereavement Nurse with Amber Onyan
Jesus didn't wait until the miracle to offer hope. Jesus didn't wait until the miracle to offer hope.

When Jesus stood at Lazarus' grave, tears were still falling. Martha and Mary were still grieving. Nothing had changed.

Yet it was there—in the middle of heartbreak—that He declared:

"I am the resurrection and the life." (John 11:25)

What a comfort for grieving parents.

Jesus doesn't ask us to hide our sorrow or move past our pain before coming to Him. He meets us in the middle of it, reminding us that while death is real, it will never have the final word.

Because He lives, our hope is greater than the grave.
