#ILoveHopeMommies and a Giveaway!

Thank you for considering making a donation to the ministry of Hope Mommies through our #ILoveHopeMommies Fundraising Campaign.  It is estimated that, in the United States alone, 1 in 4 women will experience miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.  This is a staggering number, and one, quite honestly, I never knew existed until it happened to me.  We greatly appreciate donors like you who are the hands and feet of Jesus in this broken world. The women we support carry a story within and throughout themselves that no mother should ever have to.  Yet, these women are among the loveliest and bravest I have ever met.  Your partnership with Hope Mommies as we share the gospel of Christ is both humbling and encouraging.

You are making a huge difference in the lives of grieving families.  I want you to know that 97% of all funds we raise is poured straight back into the ministry and only 3% is used for administrative costs.  In real terms this means that your money is used to pay for a Hope Box to send to a mother when we learn she has kissed her sweet baby for the last time on this earth, helps us to purchase books for our moms to use in Hope Groups so that the cost is free for them, helps to fund our annual retreat, enables us to have the means to send cards of encouragement throughout the year to all of our moms, and so many other things.

We purely want to show these hurting women the hope and love of Christ.  He is the only one who can make living this side of Heaven without their children in their arms bearable.  But we don’t merely want these women to survive; we want them to thrive and find joy in their lives again.  It is our great hope that we can help them grieve deeply for a season and also equip them to seek to live life to the fullest in Christ too, when that season comes for them.

My name is Sarah and I’m the owner of Wake Me Up Goods, a women and children’s apparel company. I started this business as a way to stay home with my daughter and it has been so much fun designing graphic tees and seeing people from all over wearing my brand!
On October 26, 2016 our family welcomed our son, Timothy, at 24 weeks premature. He survived 10 days before he left us. I received a hope mommies box from someone in honor of their child’s name and I thought it was the most wonderful thing to receive. I researched more about hope mommies and I loved the mission behind it and wanted to continue to support this ministry through my business and send boxes to other grieving mama’s in honor of Timothy.
