My name is Carrie and I am married to my best friend Zach. Together we have three children, Addison who is six and in Kindergarten, Colton who was stillborn at 38 weeks on July 18th of 2011, and Barrett who is 18 months old. I am a stay at home mom but I am very involved in Addie’s class at school and I enjoy crafting, sewing and playing with my kids. Nothing makes me feel closer to Colt than praying to and praising his Creator. I learned about Hope Mommies from a dear friend, also a Hope Mom, who shared with me about HoldenUganda. It was through HUF I found Hope Mommies and found a group of other grieving mothers who were finding peace and hope from Christ. After searching many other support groups I felt more defeated than supported until I connected with Hope Mommies. This will be the second Hope Group I will lead and I pray that through this group we will all grow our relationships with Christ because without Him we are nothing. I will be leading a local group for Hope Moms in the Austin/Round Rock area. We will still connect on Facebook but we will also provide a chance to meet and gather physically as well.
