A: Hope Groups are for women who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. Regardless of age or time since your loss, you are invited to participate in a Hope Group.

A: The size of the groups will vary, the format allows for you to simply stream and participate via chat or you can choose to raise (a digital) hand and participate via video.

A: You will have a weekly meeting, depending on your group/leader the date/time might vary. You will be expected to read through each week’s study along with the corresponding Scripture and journaling questions. Your participation is completely up to you, however, you will only get out of the group what you invest into it.

A: In short, Hope Mommies™ believes: there is one God; He loves us and our children deeply; all of mankind has sinned and therefore is separated from Him; but He graciously made a way for us to be with Him through His son, Jesus Christ (where our children already are). You can read more about our beliefs by clicking here.

A:  Hope Groups are designed to be a safe place for women to connect with other Hope Moms and to grow and heal while seeking the hope of the Lord.  It can be comforting and validating to connect with other women who have experienced a loss similar to yours.  That is a wonderful thing.

But, when we are hurting we look for ways to take that pain away and unfortunately, sometimes that can come out in the form of playing “my loss is worse than your loss”.

I want you to know that Hope Mommies™ values all life.  Hope Mommies™ was created to give grieving mamas a safe place to land.  There are so many people in this world that don’t understand our kind of loss.  We Hope Moms need to stick together and support one another.

All of our babies matter.  Every early miscarriage.  Every miscarriage that ended in D&C.  Every stillbirth. Every live birth that ended with you not taking your baby home from the hospital.  It all matters to Hope Mommies™.  You matter to Hope Mommies™.  Your baby matters to Hope Mommies™.

Our stories may be different, but we all have children in heaven and are sinners in need of a Savior.  Our circumstances may feel different, but if we get to know each other and each other’s story we may find we have more in common we can see at first glance.
