Rachel is married to Jeff and is a former elementary school teacher turned stay home mom with her four living children: Hudson, Katarina, Seth and Wyatt. Rachel experienced a miscarriage on Good Friday in 2015, but did not know about Hope Mommies at that point. On July 4, 2018 Rachel experienced a placenta abruption at 24 weeks and Asher Jesse was born and lived for 15 minutes but his lungs were not strong enough to survive. Rachel found Hope Mommies shortly after losing Asher and has been so blessed by the online Hope Groups and can’t wait to encourage other Hope Moms. Rachel & Jeff also yearly have a Hope Box gathering in memory of Asher and donate the Hope Boxes to their suburban Chicago hospital. In her free time she likes to exercise, read, and journal.
