My name is Lindsey Duke and I am the proud mother of four. I have two little men (one here on earth, with me and my husband Kevin, and another sweet little man who resides in Heaven with our Savior) and two daughters born in 2015 and 2016. Kevin and I met in college at Baylor University, and we were married May 2007. My husband was previously active duty Army. He is now a full time History Teacher, football coach, and baseball coach at a local high school. I am a Physician Assistant and work at a Children’s hospital in Dallas with our heart center.  Through Hope Mommies I have found so much comfort in my grief, both within the community of women and also in our shared faith in Christ.  I am so blessed to be a part of this ministry! Currently God has been teaching me more about allowing Him to soften my heart through grief and not allowing bitterness and anger harden my heart. These have not been easy lessons to learn, but I am so grateful for a patient and loving God who gently leads me to Him.
